So, you’ve been discharged from the hospital, but you’re not quite ready to live at home. It may be because you’re having difficulty walking. Or you’ve had a shoulder replacement and can’t quite dress yourself. Maybe you’re having difficulty swallowing or speaking. We’re experts in rehab and we’ll never lose sight of your goal to get better and get home.
Our physical therapists can help you recover from a joint replacement, regain your balance, and stand and walk again with confidence. They’ll guide you through therapeutic exercises, use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, and give you a steady dose of encouragement to improve your strength and get you moving again.
Our occupational therapists help you regain the ability to do everyday things we often take for granted. We call them “activities of daily living,” and they include things like getting out of bed, bathing, getting dressed and grooming yourself—things that become difficult after a joint replacement, stroke or serious illness.
If you’re struggling with the lingering effects of a stroke or serious illness, our Speech and Language Pathologists will work with you to improve your ability to communicate, think clearly or swallow properly.
